biography
I was born in Pohenegamook, Quebec, Canada. I started playing the
harmonium at the age of five. When I was 15 I had my first rock band and
we played at
hotels and schools.
While studying journalism in Jonquiere, I participated at a composer contest and
I won second prize. After college I left to live in Paris, France, and
made puppets. Eventually I travelled south of France to perform a
combination of music and puppetry.
Upon my return to North America I performed at a peace project in Alaska. I
returned to Ottawa and created my first human size puppet theatre with a
team of ten teenagers. After one year of intense training we went to
perform in the USA.
After all this I became more serious with my guitar and I studied with Simon
Fox, a great guitar master in Quebec City. With this training I composed a
lot of songs and made my first CD. I performed in Santa Barbara, Pasadena,
L.A, and New York. After that I toured the the former Soviet Union, all
the way to Siberia.
In the summer of 2004 I travelled to Bejing, China, where I was highlighted
by a national TV program: “Bejing Today”.
I still perform my rock multimedia show, which I plan on playing at the
Vancouver Planetarium in the near future.
